An example from our portfolio of health and safety online training courses, this course is a compliant annual update for your original Emergency First Aid at Work training, and is also ideal training for first aid Appointed Persons in the workplace.
What is Emergency First Aid? – exactly that, the first aid to be offered if an incident occurs. We are not often confronted with major injuries in our everyday lives – so very often first aid could be as simple as dressing a small cut. But what if you did find yourself confronted with something more serious? This EFAW course will highlight some of the emergency situations you might come across and the actions that you can take to help. In the most serious incidents a first aider’s role will be to assess the scene so that accurate information can be passed to Emergency services and then to act appropriately to try and increase the chance of patient survival.
